In Progress
Wish You Were Here - (The) Pink Floyd
What is the Music Project?
The Music Project is an idea I've had for a long while. The basic premise is this:
illustrate a song. Specifically, every artist that participates will be assigned a piece of the active song to illustrate based on the guidelines (detailed in each song's journal). For now, we will focus on more widely-known lyrical music until we build up a large base of regular artists. At that time, I hope to incorporate more obscure music, as well as non-lyrical music that has definite, illustratable parts (such as symphonies).
Any artist here on dA is welcome to participate, but there are a few rules which are detailed in the next section.
Participation
Rules and Regulations

Visual, still art accepted only.

No photography or photomanipulations.

The artist must listen to and know the song they wish to illustrate (naturally ^^).

Ample time will be given to complete an assignment, so no leeway will be given if it is not received on time.

In the event of a late entry, it will be accepted only if the assignment has not yet been given to someone else.

Regarding song suggestion: you must have participated in a previous song's illustration before your suggestions will be considered for future use.

Optionally, it is requested that you feature the Music Project's icon in your journal. This will be beneficial to everyone, giving us all more exposure as artists and as the project itself. More exposure means more participation, which finally translates into more songs =3
How to Enter

Send a note to this account stating that you wish to participate.

If there is more than one active song, please specify which one you would like to work on.

As soon as possible, your note will be replied to with your assignment and a due date.
